The Union Public Service Commission will hold the Indian Economic Service / Indian Statistical Service Examination ,2010 commencing from 04.10.2010 for recruitment to Grade IV of the Indian Economic Service & Indian Statistical Servie .

Eligiblity Conditions

• Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must have not attained the age of 30 years as on 01.01.2010 (Relaxable as per rules)
• Qualification : Post Graduate degree in Economics / Applied Economics / Business Economics / Econometrics and a candidate for the Indian Statistical Service must have obtained a Post Graduate degree in Statistical / Mathematical Statistics / Applied statistics from a recognized university.
• Physical Standards : Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in Appendix - III of the Rules for the Indian Economic Service / Indian Statistical Service exam 2010 published in the Gazette of India dated 05.06.2010
