Geologists Examination , 2010

The Union Public Service Commission will hold Geologists Examination , 2010 commencing from 04.12.2010 for recruitment to Geologist Group A in the Geologist Survey of India and Jr. Hydrogeologist (Scientist B) Group A and Asst. Hydrogeologist Gr. B in the Central Ground Water Water Board .

Eligiblity Conditions

• Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must have not attained the age of 32 years as on 01.01.2010 (Relaxable as per rules)
• Qualification : i) Master's degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Mariene Geology or ii) Master's Degree in Mineral Exploration (for Posts in Geologiscal Survey of India only) or iii) Master's Degree in Hyderogeology (for posts in Central Ground Water Board only) from a recognized University or (iv) Diploma of Associateship in Applied Geology of the Indian School of Mines , Dhanbad.
• Physical Standards : Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in Appendix - III of the Rules for the Geologists Examination 2010 published in the Gazette of India dated 19.07.2010
