Staff Selection Commission will hold an All India Open Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ ( Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted ) in Pay Band 2 plus Grade Pay as admissible and Stenographer Grade ‘D’ (Group ‘C’ Non-Technical) in Pay Band 1 plus Grade Pay as admissible in various Central Government Ministries / Departments / Offices

1. Stenographers ( Grade "C" and Grade "D" ) Examination, 2010
• No of Vacancies : Firm number of vacancies will be determined in due course. However, there is also a huge backlog of vacancies which could not be filled up from earlier examinations
• Age : 18-27 years as on 16.07.2010 (Relaxable as per rules)
• Qualification : Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent or higher examination from a recognised
  Board or University as on closing date, i.e., 16th July, 2010

Date of Exam: 26.09.2010
