NIOT invites applications from talented and motivated candidates to work in the challenging area of Ocean Technology against the following Regular/Project posts

REGULAR / PROJECT POSTS

1. Scientist "C" : 03 Posts
• Pay Scale : PB-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600

2. Scientist "B" : 01 Post
• Pay Scale : PB-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400

3. Skilled Technical Staff : 02 Posts
• Pay Scale : PB-1 (Rs. 5200-20200) with Grade Pay of Rs. 1900

PROJECT POSTS

1. Project Accounts Officer : 01 Post
• Pay: Rs. 39,400 to 44,600 (Consolidated)

2. Project Sr. Asst : 01 Post
• Pay: Rs. 24,900 – 28,200 (Consolidated)

3. Project Jr. Asst. (Hindi) : 01 Post
• Pay: Rs. 13,000 to 14,700 (Consolidated)

Note In case the candidate is not suitable for Regular Post, she/he may be considered for the project post on consolidated salary as given below : 1. Project Scientist – II (Equivalent to Scientist – C)
Pay ; Rs. 41,400 to 46,900 , 2. Project Scientist – I (Equivalent to Scientist – B) Pay : Rs. 39,400 to 44,600 , 3. Project Skilled Assistant (Equivalent to Skilled Technical Staff) , Pay : Rs. 13,000 to 14,700
