Requirement of Faculty –Assistant Professor and Reader

The Institute now invites applications for the regular post of Assistant Professor and Reader (on contract basis)

1. Assistant Professor (Earth and Space Sciences)
• Qualification : 1. B.Tech in Computer Science / Electrical Engg / ECE with First Class. 2. M.Tech in Computer Science/Electrical Engg/ECE with First Class. 3. Ph.D in the relevant area. OR 1. B.Sc in Mathematics with First Class. 2. M.Sc in Mathematics with First Class. 3. Ph.D in the relevant area

2. Reader on Contract (Mathematics)
• Qualification : 1. B.Sc in Mathematics with First class with 65% or 6.5 CGPA. 2. M.Sc in Mathematics with First class with 65% or 6.5 CGPA. 3. Ph.D in Mathematics with softcomputing specialization. OR 1. B.Tech in Computer Science / ECE with First Class with 65% or 6.5 CGPA. 2. M.Tech in Computer Science/ECE with First Class with 65% or 6.5 CGPA

For Assistant Professor-Pay band- 3 (Rs.15,600-39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs.7,600/-) + HRA-20% and DA-45%. Total emoluments – Rs.48,675/- (Approximately). For Reader-Consolidated amount of Rs.40,000/-per month

Note Age Limit as on 01.10. 2010: 40 years for Assistant Professor and 35 years for Reader on Contract.
