Indian Navy invites applications from unmarried candidates who fulfill eligibility condition of Nationality for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Technical [Engineering (E) & Electrical (L)] Branches of the Indian Navy for course commencing July 2011

Eligibility Conditions

1. Branch/Cadre : Technical (General Service)
• Qualification : For Engineering (E) Branch : BE/Btech in (i) Mechanical (ii) Marine (iii) Automotive (iv) Mechtronics (v) Industrial & Production (vi) Metallurgy (vii) Aeronautical/Aerospace (viii) Control For Electrical (L) Branch : BE/Btech in (i) Electrical (ii) Electronics (iii) Tele Communication (iv) Instrumentation (v)Instrumentation and Control (vi)Electronics and Instrumentation (vii) Electronics and Communication (viii) Power Engineering (ix) Control System Engineering (x) Power Electronics (xi) Computer Science Engg.
• Age : : 19 1/2 to 25 years (Born between 02.07.1986 to 01.01.1992) both dates inclusive

2. Branch/Cadre : Submarine Cadre ("E" & "L")
• Qualification : For Engineering (E) Branch : BE/BTech in Mechanical . For Electrical (L) Branch : BE/B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics or Control or Telecommunication
• Age : : 19 1/2 to 25 years (Born between 02.07.1986 to 01.01.1992) both dates inclusive

3. Branch/Cadre : Naval Architechture Cadre
• Qualification : For Naval Architechture Cadre : BE /Btech in (i) Mechnical (ii) Civil (iii) Aeronautical/Aero Space (iv) Metallurgy (v) Naval Architecture
• Age : : 21 to 25 years (Born between 02.07.1986 to 01.07.1990) both dates inclusive
