1. Scientist "G" : 04 Posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 37,400-67,000/- & Grade Pay 10,000/-

2. Scientist "F" : 06 Posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 37,400 – 67,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 8900/-

3. Scientist "F" : 07 Posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 37,400 – 67,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 8700/-

4. Scientist "D" : 14 Posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 15,600 - 39,100 + Grade Pay Rs. 7600

5. Scientist "C" : 10 Posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 15,600 - 39,100 + Grade Pay Rs. 6600

Age Limit as on 01.11.2010 : For Scientist G: 52 Years, For Scientist F: 50 years, For Scientist E: 45 Years, For Scientist D: 43 years, For Scientist C : 35 years
