Recruitment to the Statutory Posts in Visvesvaraya Iron and Steel Plant

Applications are invited for the following posts

Job Details

1. Mining Mate : 02 Posts (Gen-01, SC-01)
• Pay Scale : Rs.8630-3%-12080
• Age Limit : 18-28 Yrs. for General & 18-33 Yrs. for SC as on 01.01.2010
• Qualification : Matriculate with valid Mining Mate Certificate restricted to open cast mining issued by Director
  General of Mines Safety or Authorities empowered by him

2. Blaster : 01 Post (Gen)
• Pay Scale : Rs.8630-3%-12080
• Age Limit : 18-28 Yrs. as on 01.01.2010
• Qualification : Matriculate with valid Blaster's Certificate issued by Director General of Mines Safety or authorities

3. Mining Operator : 02 Posts (Gen-01, OBC-01)
• Pay Scale : Rs.8630-3%-12080
• Age Limit : 18-28 Yrs. for General & 18-31 Yrs. for OBC as on 01.01.2010
• Qualification : Matriculate with ITI from recognised Board with heavy duty license issued by Road Traffic Authorities

4. Gas, Fuels & Boilers : 03 Posts (Gen)
• Pay Scale : Rs.8630-3%-12080
• Age Limit : 18-28 Yrs as on 01.01.2010
• Qualification : SSLC with ATS- I/II Class Boiler attendant Certificate issued from the office of Director of Factories & Boilers of the States concerned
