Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) will now hold a one time online All India Open Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Section Officers and Assistants, open to Indian Nationals only

Job Details

1. Section Officer
• No of Posts : 43 (Gen-23 , OBC -11, SC -06 , ST-03)
• Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4800
• Total Emoluments: Rs 20333-Rs 24169

2. Assistant
• No of Posts : 90 (Gen-47 , OBC -24, SC -13 , ST-06)
• Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200
• Total Emoluments: Rs 19511-Rs 23227

Qualification : A Bachelor Degree of a recognized University in any discipline. Working knowledge of Computer application / office automation software like MS Office is desirable

Age 28 years as on 23.04.2010 (Relaxable as per rules)
