Applications from Indian citizens or such other nationalities as are declared eligible by the Govt. of India in the prescribed format are invited for the aforesaid competitive recruitment examination

Eligiblity Details

• Age : On 01.01.2011 – for candidates competing for Group A, C and D : 21 - 32 years (i.e. born not earlier than the 02.01.1979 and not later than the 01.01.1990). For Group – B (West Bengal Police Service) : 20 - 32 years (i.e. born not earlier than the 02.01.1979 and not later than the 01.01.1991). Upper Age Limit is relaxable as per rules.
• Qualification : (i) Degree of a recognised University, (ii) Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for recruitment in the case of Nepali speaking candidates from hill areas of the district of Darjeeling).
