Job Details

1. Junior Engineer
• No of Posts : 01 (OBC)
• Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200
• Qualification : Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with high first class. Those who acquired the diploma before 2007 need not apply

2. Technician (Pelletron Operator)
• No of Posts : 01 (UR)
• Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2400
• Qualification : ITI certificate in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Trade with three years relevant experience. Duties : Running and maintenance of Pelletron Accelerator and associated systems. Those who have acquired the qualification before 2004 need not apply

3. Senior Assistant
• No of Posts : 03 (ST-1, OBC-1 (PH), UR-1)
• Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200
• Age : 30 Years as on 30.11.2009 (Relaxable as per Rules)
• Qualification : A Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University with atleast second class with five year experience in the field of Purchase & Stores / Accounts / Establishment in a Government / University / Autonomous Body / reputed private firm. Knowledge of Government rules and regulations and familiarity with computers will be given preference

4. Personal Assistant
• No of Posts : 01 (SC)
• Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200
• Age : 28 Years as on 30.11.2009 (Relaxable as per Rules)
• Qualification : A Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University with a minimum speed of 100 wpm in shorthand and 40 wpm in typing. Five years experience as Stenographer in University / Government / Autonomous Body/ reputed private firm. Candidate having knowledge and experience in computer operation will be preferred

5. Research Associate
• No of Posts : 03
• Stipend: Rs. 16000/- pm. (consolidated)
• Age : 28 Years as on 30.11.2009 (Relaxable as per Rules)
• Qualification : Ph.D. in Experimental Physics (Nuclear Physics, Materials Science , Atomic Physics, Accelerator Physics, Radiation Biology and computational Materials Science). Good
  academic record from class - X onwards (atleast-55% marks) Duration of appointment will be one year, renewable up to two years. Hostel accommodation will be provided in campus. If not available, HRA as admissible will be paid.
