Job Details

1. Constable (Exe) - Male
• No of Posts : 6302
• Pay Scale : PB-1 (Rs. 5200-20200) with Grade Pay of Rs.2000
• Age : 18 to 21 years as on 01.07.2009 (relaxable as per govt rules)
• Qualification : 10 + 2 (Senior Secondary ) pass from a recognized board . Graduation certificate issued to ex-servicemen from the Army/Navy/Air Force of Indian Union is also acceptable. Relxable upto 11th pass for i) Bandsmen, buglers, mounted constable, drivers, despatch riders of Delhi police etc. ii) Sons of serving, deceased, retired police personnel / Group D employees of Delhi Police

2. Women Constable (Exe)
• No of Posts : 416
• Pay Scale : PB-1 (Rs. 5200-20200) with Grade Pay of Rs.2000
• Age : 18 to 25 years as on 01.07.2009 (relaxable as per govt rules)
• Qualification : 10 + 2 (Senior Secondary ) pass from a recognized board . Relaxable upto 11th pass only for daughters of serving, deceased, retired police personnel / Group D employees of Delhi Police
