Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for appointment to Group ‘A’ post of Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant) and Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant) in Central Police Forces (BSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB and Assam Rifles), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

1. Specialist Medical Officer (Deputy Commandant) : 237 Posts
• Pay Scale : Rs.15,600 – 39,100/- plus Grade pay Rs.6,600/- per month plus other benefits
• Age : 35 years as on09.10.2010 (Relaxable as per rules)

2. Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant) : 291 Posts
• Pay Scale : Rs.15,600 – 39,100/- plus Grade pay Rs.5,400/- per month plus other benefits
• Age : 30 years as on09.10.2010 (Relaxable as per rules)
