• Max. Age : 44 years as on 01.01.2010.
• Qualification :SSC Mine Surveyor Certificate of Competency under Coal Mines regulations.

4. Surveyor Trainee (Men Only) : 01 Post
• Pay: Rs.10127.70
• Max. Age : 34 years as on 01.01.2010.
• Qualification : Diploma in Mining Engineering from any State Board of Technical Education (Approved by AICTE)

5. Junior Mining Engineer Trainee (Men Only) : 29 Posts
• Pay: Rs.10127.70
• Max. Age : 34 years as on 01.01.2010.
• Qualification : Diploma in Mining Engineering from any State Board of Technical Education (Approved by AICTE)
