The Directorate of Press & Information proposes to make appoiintments to the posts of Assistant Director (P&I) and Publicity Assistant on purely six-monthly contract basis .

1. Assistant Director (Press & Information) : 01 Post
• Pay: Rs. 23000/-
• Qualification : 1. Degree from a recognized university or equivalent with both english and hindi / urdu as a subject. 2. Degree or equivalent Diploma in Journalism from a recognized university / institution or equivalent . 3. 2 years experience of Jurnalistic / Publicity work in govt. dept. or in a newspaper / news agency or publicity organisation.

2. Publicity Assistant : 04 Posts
• Pay: Rs. 18000/-
• Qualification : 1.Degree from a recognized university or equivalent with both english and hindi / urdu as a subject. 2. Degree or equivalent Diploma in Journalism from a recognized university / institution or equivalent . OR 2 years experience of Jurnalistic / Publicity work in govt. dept. or in a newspaper / news agency or publicity organisation.

Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years (Relaxable as per rules)
