Opportunities for Talented Young Scientists in Climate Science

The Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) , Pune , an autonomous research organization , fully devoted to research in various aspects of climate science is looking for recruiting bright talented candidates of Indian origin to fill in the following areas.

1. Research Scientist : 20 Posts
• Areas : : i) Development of a Dynamical Prediction System of Seasonal Mean Mansoon Rainfall. ii) Extended Range Prediction system for active and Break Spells of the mansoon. iii) Interaction between Tropical Convection and Large Scale Circulation and Parameterization of Tropical Convection for Weather and Climate Models . iv) Physics and Dynamics of Tropical Clouds using Radars and similar techniques and v) Climate Change and Indian Mansoon.
