The Centre invites applications from Indian Nationals on direct recruitment basis as well as on deputation basis for the under-mentioned posts in Library and Information Science as well as in Computer Science:

1. Scientist-D (Library Science) : 01 Post
• Pay Scale : Rs.15,600-39,100 (PB-3) plus Grade Pay – Rs.7,600/-
• Gross Emoluments: Rs.50,045.00 per month
• Age : 45 Years
• Qualification : (i) Ph.D. in Library & Information Science with 4 (four) years relevant experience in a supervisory position or M.Lib./M.L.I.Sc. with 10 years relevant experience in a supervisory position. (ii) Evidence of innovative library services, published work and professional commitments. (iii) Experience in computerized library operations and networking or IT environment

2. Scientist-D (Computer Science) : 01 Post
• Pay Scale : Rs.15,600-39,100 (PB-3) plus Grade Pay – Rs.7,600/-
• Gross Emoluments: Rs.50,045.00 per month
• Age : 45 years
• Qualification : (i) Ph.D. in Computer Science with 4 (four) years relevant experience OR ME/ MTech (CE) with 6 (six) years experience OR BE/MCA with 9 (nine) years experience. (ii) Evidence of published work and professional commitments. (iii) Experience in computerized library operations and networking or IT environment

3. Scientist-C (Library Science) : 02 Posts
• Pay Scale : Rs.15,600-39,100 (PB-3) plus Grade Pay – Rs.6,600/-
• Gross Emoluments: Rs.43,613.00 per month
• Age Limit : 40 years
• Qualification : Ph.D. in Library & Information Science or M.Lib./M.L.I.Sc. with 6 years relevant experience in a supervisory position

4. Scientist-B (Library Science) : 04 Posts
• Pay Scale : Rs.15,600-39,100 (PB-3) plus Grade Pay – Rs.5,400/-
• Gross Emoluments: Rs.36,870.00 per month
• Age Limit : 35 years
• Qualification :M.Lib. / M.L.I.Sc. with 1 year relevant experience

5. Scientist-B (Computer Science) : 04 Posts
• Pay Scale : Rs.15,600-39,100 (PB-3) plus Grade Pay – Rs.5,400/-
• Gross Emoluments: Rs.36,870.00 per month
• Age Limit : 35 years
• Qualification :BE/BTech (Computer Science/Engineering) / MCA.

6. Scientific/Technical Assistant (Library Science) : 01 Post
• Pay Scale : Rs.9,300-34,800 (PB-2) plus Grade Pay – Rs.4,200/-
• Gross Emoluments: Rs.23,085.00 per month
• Age Limit : 30 years
• Qualification :B.Lib./B.L.I.Sc.

7. Scientific/Aechnical Assistant (Computer Science) : 01 Post
• Pay Scale : Rs.9,300-34,800 (PB-2) plus Grade Pay – Rs.4,200/-
• Gross Emoluments: Rs.23,085.00 per month
• Age Limit : 30 years
• Qualification :DCA.
