GUJARAT STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST FOR LECTURESHIP, OCTOBER 2010

The Gujarat State Eligibility Test for Lectureship will be held on Sunday 24th October, 2010. Candidates who qualify in this Test are eligible to apply for the post of Lecturer in Gujarat State only

• Eligibilty : Master’s or equivalent degree from an Indian University recognized by the University Grants Commission under the subjects mentioned above with minimum 55%(without grace or rounding off) for General & OBC candidates; 50% (without grace or rounding off) for SC/ST/PH/VH candidates and Ph.D. degree holders whose Master’s level examination were completed by 19th September, 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result). A candidate who is appearing or has appeared in the final year of Master’s Degree or equivalent examination, in the subjects mentioned above, during the session 2010-2011, can also apply for the test. Such candidates shall be admitted to the test provisionally. They shall be considered eligible for Lectureship, if they are able to produce the proof of having passed the Master’s Degree examination in the relevant or related subject with the requisite percentage of marks and submit their Master’s Degree Examination Mark sheet within two year from the date of the SET Examination in which the candidate has appeared, failing which certificate will not be issued to the candidate.
