SPECIAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE FOR SC, ST, OBC & Persons with Disabilities

Applications are invited for the following positions in the Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP) as given below

A. Backlog reserved vacancies for SC/ST/OBC candidates

1. Technician Group-II(1) : 01 Post
• Pay Scale : PB-1 (Rs. 5200-20200) with Grade Pay of Rs. 1900
• Age : Upto 28 years (Relaxable as per rules)
• Qualification : SSC/10th standard with 50% marks in aggregate and ITI Certificate in Masonary work OR SSSC/HSC/12th with relevant technical subjects with a min. of 60% marks in aggregate

2. Technician Group-II(1) : 01 Post
• Pay Scale : PB-1 (Rs. 5200-20200) with Grade Pay of Rs. 1900
• Age : Upto 28 years (Relaxable as per rules)
• Qualification : SSC/10th standard with 50% marks in aggregate and ITI Certificate in Automobiles trade OR SSSC/HSC/12th with relevant technical subjects with a min. of 60% marks in aggregate

B. Backlog reserved vacancies for Persons with Disabilities

1. Scientist-B Group IV (1) (Statistics and Computer Application) : 01 Post
• Pay Scale : PB-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400
• Age Limit : Upto 35 years (Relaxable as per rules)
• Qualification : First class MCA or M.Sc. in the field of Biological/Life Sciences or Agriculture with specialization in the field of statistics/ biometrics/ population biology/computer application in biological/ agriculture research or Ph.D. in any of the above areas

2. Scientist-B Group IV (1) (Project Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation) : 01 Post
• Pay Scale : PB-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400
• Age Limit : Upto 35 years (Relaxable as per rules)
• Qualification :First class M.Sc. Agriculture/ Plant Science or Ph.D. in one of these fields.

3. Jr. Technical Assistant Group-III(1) : 01 Post
• Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300-34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-
• Age Limit : Upto 28 years (Relaxable as per rules)
• Qualification : M.Sc. in Agriculture or Horticulture with working experience in research farm operations, maintenance of conservatories, herbal garden, glass house, etc.

4. Jr. Technical Assistant Group-III(1) : 01 Post
• Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300-34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-
• Age Limit : Upto 28 years (Relaxable as per rules)
• Qualification :Ist class B.Sc. or its equivalent

5. Technician Group-II(1) : 01 Post
• Pay Scale : PB-1 (Rs. 5200-20200) with Grade Pay of Rs. 1900
• Age Limit : Upto 28 years (Relaxable as per rules)
• Qualification : SSC/10th standard with 50% marks in aggregate and ITI Certificate in Agriculture/Horticulture OR SSSC/HSC/12th with relevant technical subjects with a min. of 60% marks in aggregate.

6. Technician Group-II(1) : 01 Post
• Pay Scale : PB-1 (Rs. 5200-20200) with Grade Pay of Rs. 1900
• Age Limit : Upto 28 years (Relaxable as per rules)
• Qualification : SSC/10th standard with 50% marks in aggregate and ITI Certificate in Carpentary OR SSSC/HSC/12th with relevant technical subjects with a min. of 60% marks in aggregate

II. Regular vacancies

1. Scientist-B Group IV (1) (Entomology) : 01 Post
• Pay Scale : PB-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400
• Age Limit : Upto 35 years (Relaxable as per rules)
• Qualification :First class M.Sc. (Agriculture) Entomology / Zoology-Entomology with Ph.D.

2. Scientist-B Group IV(1) (Computational Biology/ Bioinformatics) : 01 Post
• Pay Scale : PB-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400
• Age Limit : Upto 35 years (Relaxable as per rules)
• Qualification :First class M.Sc. in Biological Sciences with Ph.D.

3. Jr. Technical Assistant Group-III(1) : 01 Post
• Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300-34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-
• Age Limit : Upto 28 years (Relaxable as per rules)
• Qualification : Ist class Diploma in Electrical Engineering of three years full time duration or its equivalent.
