The Agricultural Economics Research Centre, University of Delhi, invites applications on the prescribed form for the following posts

Faculty/Teaching Positions

1. Senior Fellow : 01 (UR-1), pay scale Rs 37400-67000+AGP Rs 10000
• Qualification : An eminent scholar in Agricultural Economics with published work of high quality, actively engaged in research. Ten years experience of research and/or teaching. Experience of guiding research at Doctoral level. OR An outstanding scholar in the field of Agricultural Economics with an established reputation, who has made a significant contribution to knowledge

2. Fellow :01 (UR-1), Pay scale Rs.37400-67000+AGP Rs.9000
• Qualification : Good academic record with a doctoral degree in Economics/Statistics with specialization in
  Agricultural Economics/Agricultural Statistics. Candidates who join from outside the university
  system shall also possess at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the 7 point scale
  with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master’s degree level.

Non-Teaching Posts

1. Research Investigator : 02 (UR-1, ST-1) Pay scale Rs.9300-34800+GP Rs.4200
• Age Limit : 35 years (5 yrs. relaxation of age for ST)
• Qualification : Consistently good academic record with at least second class (B+) or 55% marks in master’s degree in Economics/ Agricultural Economics/ Agricultural Statistics/ Statistics or an equivalent degree from a foreign university

2. Professional Assistant : 01 (UR-1), Scale Rs.9300 + 34800 + GP Rs.4200
• Age Limit : 35 years
• Qualification : 1. M.Lib.Sc./MLISc. Or equivalent with 50% marks; OR Master’s Degree in Arts /Science /Commerce or any other discipline with 50% and B.Lib.Sc/B.L.I.Sc. with 50% marks. 2. Computer Science paper at Graduate/PG level or six months computer science course from a recognized institution

3. Section Officer : 01 (UR-1) Pay scale Rs.9300-34800+GP Rs.4600.
• Age Limit : 35 years
• Qualification : 1. Graduate/Post Graduate with at least second division (50% marks). 2. At least three years post qualification experience in handling Educational Administration/General Administration / Purchase /Accounts & Finance in a University/ Research Institution/Government Department / Bodies /PSU or reputed commercial establishment

4. Personal Assistant : 01 (UR-1), Pay scale Rs.9300-34800 + GP Rs.4200.
• Age Limit : 30 years
• Qualification : 1. Graduate from recognized University. 2. Shorthand speed of: 100 words per minute and typing speed of 40 words per minute in English. OR 80 words per minute and typing speed of 40 words per minute in Hindi.
