The Chief Commissioner of Income-tax, Chennai-I and CCA, Chennai invites application from meritorious Sports persons in the disciplines of Cricket(Men only /Hockey (Men Only)/ Volleyball (Men only/ Football (Men only)/ Basketball (Men only)/Athletics(both Men and Women) for the following posts

Job Details

1. Inspector of Income-tax
• Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600
• Qualification :Bachelor's Degree(Graduation degree) or equivalent from a recognised University

2. Tax Assistant
• Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,400/-
• Qualification : Bachelor's Degree (Graduation degree) or equivalent from a recognised University and having data entry speed of 8000 key depressions per hour

3. Peon
• Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1,800/-
• Qualification :Matriculation or equivalent qualification

Age Limit : 18 to 27 years as on 01.03.2010 (Relaxable as per rules)
